"Keshi, whose real name is Casey Luong, is a Vietnamese-American singer-songwriter and producer from Houston, Texas. He was a registered nurse before he decided to pursue music full time. Keshi began posting his own music on SoundCloud while still working as a nurse and quickly earned millions of streams on the platform. His style fuses elements of hip-hop and lo-fi indie rock with intimate songwriting, earning him comparisons to artists like Joji and Post Malone. With each EP that he released - "the reaper", "skeletons", then "bandaids" - keshi's sound progressed while maintaining the hushed feeling of his earliest work."
