Dewayne Perkins is a Chicago-born comedian, writer, and actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his sharp wit and unique perspective. He's renowned for his stand-up comedy which often explores themes of race, sexuality, and growing up in Chicago. After graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Digital Cinema Production, Dewayne moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides. He has written for Netflix’s "The Break with Michelle Wolf" as well as NBC’s "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." He was named one of Comedy Central's Up Next Comedians and was featured on their digital series "Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents." Additionally, he is also part of the writing team for Peacock's new show 'Saved By The Bell.'
