Ego Nwodim is a comedian and actress who hails from Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Biology before realizing her passion for performing arts. Ego began her comedy career at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles where she performed as a regular. Her breakout role came when she was cast as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in 2018, and she was promoted to repertory status for the show's 45th season. Apart from SNL, Ego has made appearances on various television shows such as "Law & Order: True Crime", "Adam Ruins Everything" and "2 Broke Girls".
