"Mekki Leeper is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for his distinct brand of humor that combines personal stories with witty social commentary. Born in Philadelphia to Moroccan and European parents, Mekki brings a unique perspective to his comedic craft. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Mekki moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides. He has written for Comedy Central's "Problematic with Moshe Kasher" and was nominated for a 2018 Writers Guild Award for his work on TruTV’s "Comedy Knockout." His digital series "Control Room" is available on Comedy Central's YouTube Channel.
